  • UPDATE FROM REV. DELORES BERRY

It has been six months since my accident and every time I think I am getting well I fall back in the hole.  I feel better for 4 days, seldom more than, I return to pain that feels like someone is scraping my bones with a broken glass bottle.  the pain radiates throughout my lower back, hips and legs.

In six months time I have battled more than 8 infections, spent some 63 days all total in the hospital and countless hours in doctor offices.  I have wanted for months to send you wonderful news.  I have for months wanted to tell you how a person of  faith endures something like this.  I wanted to encourage you and make you smile.  All I can tell you is that I just keep breathing.  I make myself breathe.  Judy makes me breathe.  Her focus has been going beyond her own physical health to pull me through.

The reason you haven't heard from me is that I haven't heard from myself.  We need your help and prayers.
