PRAYER REQUEST

  

September 06 2007  Rev. Paul Fairley is not doing well.  He has stage 4 cancer which has spead throughout his body.  He is on staff at MCC Toronto.
 
September 06 2007 Shawnee, the daughter of Patti Gibbs and bonnie VanFleeren in Grand Rapids, Michigan, broke her collarbone in a bike accident.  They will be doing surgery on Friday.  Her moms had originally planned to be with us for our 35th Anniversary Weekend.

 God Bless And Many Thanks For Continued Prayers For Recovery! 
My brother, David Watson, now under treatment for colon cancer at the American Center for Cancer Treatment, Zion, IL, is doing much better.  It is actually beginning to look like we will be able to save him!!

September 01 2007 Dale Burkholder, who created our hymnals, has been diagnosed with a tumor.  He is awaiting test results to see if it is cancer.  He has moved to Windsor, Ontario, and is not yet under their health care system.  He is facing surgery and/or chemo with extremely minimal insurance coverage under his partner's plan.
 
 September 01 2007 Rev. Raeanna Biddle (Dayton, Ohio) had open heart surgery several years ago.  They are doing a heart cath on 10 September because, due to recent tests, the doctor believes there may be another blockage, as well as scar tissue and a leaking valve.
 
September 01 2007 Marsha Stevens-Pino, the wonderful MCC singer who wrote "For Those Tears I Died", has been hospitalized with a recurring problem.  The praise is that the doctors think they may have found the cause this time and have begun a four week regimen.  Pray that it works!
 
    September 01 2007          Linda Wright, a former MCCL Deacon who lives in Republic, Missouri, has asked to be added to the prayer list.  She has been diagnosed with a herniated disc and a pinched nerve in her back.  Her son Tom has some knots in his chest that have the doctors mystified.       

August 16th 2007  Evangelist Joel Osteen's brother-in-law's church (Gary Simons/ High Point Church) refused to have the funeral for a gay man killed in Iraq, when they learned that his partner would be recognized as part of the family.  It didn't matter that this family were members of his church in Arlington, Texas.  

 
         August 16th 2007   Friends of Lynette Lee and Patricia Kinne's from Appalachian MCC have had a big heartbreak.  Jackie and Thresa were notified that the mother who was going to let them adopt her newborn has probably changed her mind.  
  •  June 9th 2007 Rev. Lin Stoner (Michigan) is having a series of shots in her knee because of degenerative joint disease and arthritis.
  • June 1st 2007 Betsy Geuhl's father from Dayton, Ohiois having surgery for lung cancer on Monday and wants our prayers.
           
  •  March 29 2007 Rev. Kermie Wohlenhaus, the spouse of Rev. Elder Glenna Shepherd, has been diagnosed with Stage One breast cancer.  They removed the lumps.  It is not in her lymph system.  She will now undergo chemo and radiation treatments in Portland, Oregon.  Rev. Elder Glenna has already moved to their new post in Brighton, England, and is currently visiting the MCCs in South Africa.
  •    March 29 2007 Prayers for the 10 year old Indiana girl who set herself on fire.  She has been lifeflighted to the pediatric burn unit in Cincinnati.  The prognosis is not good.
  •     April  16 2007 Please Pray For The Family and friends of the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings
  •     March 29 2007 Pray For Chuck From New Orleans, For  a job and emotional well-being
